Floor Mounted Davit – DA 02

KARAM Davit Arm is specially designed for confined space entry/rescue applications. It is ideal for providing portable, safe overhead anchorage in large confined areas like manholes, storage tanks etc. It also allows the user to adjust the height accordingly for overhead clearance restrictions.

• The Floor Mounted Davit (DA 02) is designed to provide safe and secure access to confined spaces.
• Can be installed on various surfaces such as concrete, metal structures.
• Comes with pre-installed lower mounting bracket assemblies DA-01/DA-01(19) to facilitate the installation of winches and retrieval systems, allowing for a complete confined space entry and exit system.
• Has multiple anchorage points for rescue purposes, providing versatility in rescue operations and enabling effective retrieval of personnel during emergencies.
• Special mounting brackets PN 900(01) for the floor ensures stable and secure attachment of the Davits, enhancing system safety.
• Both the Davits include a separate rope access and rescue pulley, as well as an anchor point designed for use with 10.5mm to 13.0mm kernmantle rope, expanding their functionality for rope access and rescue operations.
• Compatible with various KARAM Winches PN 801(DP), PN 817(DP), PN 818(DP), PN 818SR(DP) and Retrieval Blocks PCGS20R, PCGS30R for seamless integration into the safety system.
• The retrieval block can be mounted on the Davit lower mast using a lower bracket assembly and a universal mounting bracket SA-17(26), allowing for proper positioning during rescue and retrieval operations.

DA02 is certified to EN 795:2012 Type B, Atex 2014/34/EU, and AS/NZS 5532:2013 standards, ensuring
compliance with safety regulations.
