National Sales Manager – Gauteng

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead our Southern African sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with channel partners. The Management of distribution channels is a key component of the job. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and expand market share.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Analyse sales metrics and KPIs to assess performance and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
  • Client Relationships:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Research:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new product and business opportunities.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  •  5 years of experience in sales management or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyse data and develop actionable strategies.
